Job Description
- Develop and maintain web scraping programs and scripts to gather data from various web pages.
- Manage and analyze data sets obtained through web scraping, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Test, maintain, and troubleshoot web scraping processes to identify and resolve issues or errors.
- Process, clean, and transform data sets to ensure consistency and usability.
- Collaborate with different teams to understand data needs and requirements.
- Provide support and guidance in utilizing and interpreting data for operational and sales purposes.
- Assist in automation projects to streamline data gathering and analysis processes.
- Develop and implement data scraping procedures and best practices.
- Utilize DevOps and Cloud Computing technologies, such as AWS and GCP.
- Perform other duties as assigned related to data operations and analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a relevant field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in data operations, web scraping, or related roles.
- Proven experience with web scraping techniques and tools (JavaScript, Python, .NET, etc.).
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Knowledge of DevOps and Cloud Computing technologies is a plus.
